About the Programme
The Mata Sabri Cricket Tournament brings together youth from Musahar tolas across districts such as Bhojpur, Gaya, Patna and Buxar, according to the verified participation of each tournament edition.
The event promotes: - teamwork; - confidence; - discipline; - healthy competition; - positive youth engagement; - community participation; - recognition of local sporting talent.
The programme also includes inclusive sporting activities for girls.
Activities may include Rassa-Kashi, commonly known in English as Tug of War, along with other suitable community games where organised.
Running alongside or around the sports event, a Seva or documentation-support camp may assist eligible families through: - birth-certificate application support; - Aadhaar-related assistance; - labour-card facilitation; - Ayushman Bharat card assistance; - bank-account facilitation; - pension-scheme guidance; - awareness of other relevant government services; - help understanding or completing application forms; - coordination with appropriate authorities where possible.
